Our school continues to develop in many exciting ways, providing an even more enriching experience for our pupils.
We are currently full to capacity with local families wanting a place for their son or daughter to start in our Year 3 classes.
The school was last inspected by Ofsted in June 2014 when the overall effectiveness was judged to be good with many outstanding features.
The Inspection Report said, āThis is a good school.
Pupils achieve well.
Teaching is good because teachers make accurate checks on how well each pupil is achieving.ā They commented further, āThe breadth of learning opportunities fosters a love of learning and contributes well to pupilsā spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.āI am extremely proud to lead a team that is committed to providing the very best opportunities for the children who attend Race Leys Junior School.
Staff, supported by governors, work hard to deliver a rich and challenging curriculum; to prepare children for future education; and to help them acquire the skills and enthusiasm needed to pursue learning for the rest of their lives.
